ABOUT US

Aside from 14 years working “in the trenches” of church ministry, Seth also possesses comparable experience in the world of professional education As the lead Bible teacher in the upper grade levels at  Liberty Christian Prep, an active and growing school, he had extensive practice communicating the Gospel to young men and women, not only from varied cultural backgrounds, but from varied religions as well.

Seth and Jessica Malec have been involved in local church since they were teenagers. They met at Atlantic Baptist Bible College (now a part of Carolina University) where Seth was earning a B.A. in Christian Missions and Jessica was earning a B.A. in Elementary Education. They were married in 2001, and in 2002, they moved from Virginia to Florida. From 2002-2016, the Malecs served in a local church, gaining valuable experience as they worked in a variety of ministries- from the nursery and children all the way up to the senior adults.

OUR EXPERIENCE

God has sent the Malecs to work in Arequipa, the second-largest city in Peru. Arequipa is a very traditional, very Roman Catholic city. They have been sent out by Central Baptist Church and approved by TEAM to work under an established church, Iglesia Biblica Cristiana Arequipa, to reach Peruvians with the Gospel and train them how to reach their countrymen with that same Gospel. Their family is currently working in a young church plant, Iglesia Bíblica Cristiana Bustamante.

OUR MISSION

We are excited to to be serving alongside the local church in Arequipa. But, as you know, for us to go, there is a cost. We are asking you to consider investing in the spread of the Gospel by supporting us as we minister in southern Peru. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.
